Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God. It is the sole source of doctrinal truth and contains everything we need for life and spiritual growth.

God

There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has revealed Himself in both nature and in the Bible.

Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man. The Bible clearly teaches His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and bodily return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is fully God, indwells every believer, enables obedience and spiritual growth, and He preserves every believer unto eternity.

Salvation

All men are sinful, separated from God, and unable to save themselves or make any contribution to their own salvation. Salvation is only through grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone.

The Church

We believe that the universal church is comprised of all the redeemed. The local church is the visible, tangible expression of the universal church. Membership in and commitment to a specific local church is necessary for spiritual growth and health.

The Ordinances

Jesus Christ gave us two ordinances. Baptism is to be by immersion following salvation. Believers have been instructed to celebrate the Gospel through the Lord’s Table. It is intended to remind us of the Gospel, tell us to examine ourselves, and lead us toward greater unity.
